Thursday, July 14, 2011 The Staff of Cutting Edge Fire Training Group worked the past two weeks giving a Truck Company Ops class in Chester, NY. The class went over riding positions, VES, Ladder placement, Roof Cuts, and some Irons work. Thanks to all who attened and Chester Fire Dept for hosting the training!
Sunday, June 26, 2011 This past weekend some of the members of Cutting Edge Fire Training Group manned a booth at the New England Ass. of Fire Chiefs Expo in Springfield, MA. The show was great and we met a lot of new friends who enjoy training. We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth to talk over the weekend and hope to see you all soon!
Wednesday, June 8, 2011 Today one of our instructors’s received a medal at the annual FDNY Medal Day which was held on the USS Intrepid in Manhattan. FF Robert Painter Engine Co. 63 received the Lieutenant James Curran/New York Firefighters Burn Center Foundation Medal in recognition of his heroic actions July 4th, 2008, 19:53 hours, Box 75-3886, 708 East 243rd Street Bronx, NY for acting with aggressive and coordinated teamwork in the performance of duty to contain to spread of a gas-fueled arson fire in a six story multiple dwelling. FF Painter was transported to the NYC Burn Center with 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his legs, wrists and ears. For additional info on the story please view the attached PDF. Monday, May 23, 2011 This past weekend some of the members of Cutting Edge Fire Training Group manned a booth at Fire Expo in Harrisburg, PA. The show was great and we met a lot of new friends who enjoy training. After the show on Sat the boys from Progress fire put on a great party as usual "EXPO BASH 2011". We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth to talk and the boys from Progress Fire for throwing a great party!

Sunday, May 15, 2011 This past weekend we went to back to Newtown, CT to teach our RIT/FAST Operations Class to the boys up there. This was the last class of a three class series that Botsford Fire Rescue hosted for us! The class was extremely successful and the students were very happy with the outcome. We threw a lot of new tips at the students and then moved on to some intense simulations that really tested their skills! Make sure to view the full article to see additional photos! Wednesday, March 30, 2011 We are leaving tomorrow to present at Lysander Fire Coalition's First Annual Fire Training Seminar this Saturday April 2nd at C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville, NY. We'll be providing the two Lectures that day; "Fire Due Operations With Limited Personnel" and "The Fire Goes As The First Line Goes." The cost for the two lectures and lunch for the day will be $25.00 per person. Its still not too late to sign up so please do so ASAP!
