Thursday, July 14, 2011 The Staff of Cutting Edge Fire Training Group worked the past two weeks giving a Truck Company Ops class in Chester, NY. The class went over riding positions, VES, Ladder placement, Roof Cuts, and some Irons work. Thanks to all who attened and Chester Fire Dept for hosting the training!
Sunday, May 15, 2011 This past weekend we went to back to Newtown, CT to teach our RIT/FAST Operations Class to the boys up there. This was the last class of a three class series that Botsford Fire Rescue hosted for us! The class was extremely successful and the students were very happy with the outcome. We threw a lot of new tips at the students and then moved on to some intense simulations that really tested their skills! Make sure to view the full article to see additional photos! Members from the following dept attened the training; Botsford Fire Rescue, Newtown H&L, Dogingtown FD, Stepney FD, Sandy Hook FD, Avon FD, and Old Saybrook FD. Sunday, March 27, 2011 This past weekend we went to Wyomissing, PA to teach our Advanced Forcible Entry "Get The Door" Class to the boys down there. The class was extremely successful and the students were very happy with the outcome. We took the students back to the basics of Forcible Entry and drilled a lot of great information into them! Tuesday, March 22, 2011 This past weekend we held our first of three hands-on training classes in Newtown, CT. Botsford Fire rescue is the host company for this three class series which includes; Engine Company Operations, Truck Company Operations and F.A.S.T/R.I.T. The first class for the series was Engine Company Operations, which was held this past Sat and Sun. The class was extremely successful and the students were very happy with the outcome.
