Cutting Edge Fire Training Group LLC was founded in 2009 by a group of fire service instructors from some of the busiest and most respected fire department in the world. Our Instructors come from a variety of different departments across the country both career and volunteer, including the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) and the Washington, D.C. Metro Area. Because of this diversity our instructors are well equipped with a wide range of experience and teaching styles. Our teaching team is comprised of dedicated instructors who believe that firefighters are all bound by their profession and that there is a lot more to firefighting than the “books” have to offer.
Cutting Edge takes training to a whole new level by customizing our training programs to meet all of your departments needs. No matter how small or large your department is, we will take the time to meet with your department first to understand the way your department operates and determine what your goals and needs are. From there we will create a training program based on your individual needs. We are based out of the NYC/Tri-State area and will bring our classes and lectures anywhere in the world.
Our classes and lectures specialize in the basic fundamentals of firefighting but we also provide advanced leadership and command classes by some of the most experienced and respected Chiefs in the country. We are always developing new classes to keep up with today's technological advances and any important issues that may arise. Cutting Edge Fire Training Group also provides training to the private industry sector (Commercial, industrial, healthcare, etc.)
